The Nittany Lion football team, led by Coach Bill O'Brien, will culminate spring practice with one of the highlights of the Penn State sports calendar, Blue-White Weekend presented by AAA, set for April 20-22.

Kickoff for the Blue-White Game presented by AAA is tentatively scheduled for 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 21 in Beaver Stadium, preceded by the popular pre-game autograph session with the players. The contest will air on the Penn State Sports Network and www.GoPSUsports.com. There will not be any live television coverage of the Blue-White Game.

As in previous years, there will be no admission or parking fee for the Blue-White Game.

Numerous events will be held in conjunction with the Blue-White Game presented by AAA to celebrate Penn State Football. A carnival adjacent to Beaver Stadium will operate Friday-Sunday. The carnival, wing fest, food vendors and entertainment stage near the stadium will open Friday, April 20 at 6 p.m., with fireworks scheduled for 9 p.m. Also on Friday, Penn State Uplifting Athletes will again sponsor a dunk tank with proceeds benefiting the Nittany Lion football team's Lift for Life fund-raiser for the Kidney Cancer Association.

On Saturday, April 21, the carnival and entertainment stage will open at 10 a.m. The football squad members will be available for autographs at the Blue-White Game. Following the game, there will be a concert on the stage. The carnival will run until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sunday, April 22.

One of the recent additions to the Blue-White Weekend schedule will be held the day after the football game. The Third Beaver Stadium 5K Run/Family Fun Walk to benefit Special Olympics Pennsylvania will begin Sunday at 11 a.m. The event has raised more than $120,000 for Special Olympics Pennsylvania in its first two years. For more information on the Beaver Stadium 5K Run/Family Fun Walk go to www.stadiumrun.org.

Other events held in conjunction with Blue-White Weekend presented by AAA will be announced at a later date. Coach O'Brien's squad is in the midst of off-season strength training and conditioning and will begin spring practice in late March.

The Penn State men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse, men's tennis, women's tennis and men's volleyball teams all will be competing at home during Blue-White Weekend presented by AAA. Please check www.GoPSUsports.com for all Penn State team schedules.
