Centre County Conservation District Seedling Sale

The Centre County Conservation District is now accepting orders for the annual Tree Seedling Sale. Varieties available include Colorado Blue Spruce, Fraser Fir, Canadian Hemlock, Eastern White Pine, Norway Spruce, Scarlet Oak, American Redbud, Bigtooth Aspen and Kousa Dogwood. Fruit tree varieties include Apples (Spur Red Delicious and Fuji, one each for pollination), Pear, Redhaven Peach, Stanley Plum and Montomorency Tart Cherry. Proceeds are used to sponsor environmental education programs throughout Centre County, including the annual Centre County Envirothon and the Conservation Poster Contest.
