(February 14, 2013)— Live Nation Global Touring has confirmed that the remainder of the Lady Gaga Born This Way Ball performances have been cancelled, including her performance at Bryce Jordan Center on March 2nd.
After additional tests this morning to review the severity of the issue, it has been determined that Lady Gaga has a labral tear of the right hip. She will need surgery to repair the problem, followed by strict down time to recover. This unfortunately, will force her to cancel the tour so she can heal.
Refunds for the cancelled performances will be available at point of purchase starting Feb 14, 2013.
Tickets purchased with a credit card have been refunded and the credit should be appearing on your statement in 3-5 business days. Any tickets purchased with Cash, Check, or Lion’s Cash need to be returned to the Bryce Jordan Center, and a University Check will be issued to the original purchaser. The Bryce Jordan Center Box Office is open Monday-Friday from 10am-6pm. Tickets may also be mailed to:

 Metropolitan Opera Live HD Presents: Wagner’s Parsifal Saturday, March 2 at Noon at The State Theatre. The story of Parsifal takes place in the Middle Ages in the Kingdom of the Grail. Amfortas has been entrusted with the protection of the Holy Grail, the mythical cup used to catch Christ’s blood, and the sacred Spear with which Longinus pierced Christ’s side on the cross. However, Amfortas is seduced by Kundry, and the Spear falls into the hands of Klingsor, an evil magician. The Grail Knights wait for a prophesied “guileless fool,” one who will not succumb to Klingsor’s temptations because he does not know sin, to recover the Spear and heal Amfortas.
Jonas Kaufmann stars in the title role of the innocent who finds wisdom in François Girard’s new vision for Wagner’s final masterpiece. His fellow Wagnerian luminaries include Katarina Dalayman as the mysterious Kundry, Peter Mattei as the ailing Amfortas, Evgeny Nikitin as the wicked Klingsor, and René Pape as the noble knight Gurnemanz.
